First Day as an Artist Blogger

Honestly, when I was growing up and day dreaming of becoming a professional artist with my beautiful studio centered in my perfect english cottage garden; it never occured to me to take a computer class. I dont believe once did it enter in my mind, that some day I will need a computer degree to sell my art.

Boy, how things have changed since graduation. One day, I am peddling art at the local street fair and the next day, I am on the internet trying to set up a website and a blog like many of my other fellow artists.

As much as I sound like I am complaining, I am not complaining about all the choices available to an artist and his customer base. Whoever thought, I could jump from United Kingdom to Brazil so fast and view all the beautiful artwork/crafts of each artist in between. WOW ! I see more design ideas and techniques in one hour than I could have come up with in a life time. Yes, the internet is like a classroom for ideas and teaching techniques. My artistic daydreams of yesterday pales so much to the bright light that has opened up in me and my designs show a more worldy influence. Yes, as an artist I am thrilled about the internet and all it's worldly influences.
